High/Low is series of works on magnet backing. The main concept of working with magnet as support material is pushing where fridge magnets can be displayed, by using unconventional imagery, large dimensions and unusual shapes. Fridge magnets are a touristy-kitschy consumable nick-nack. With High/Low I wanted to explore the notion of "high" art, (a subject not typically seen ) on a "low" magnetic backing.
